Who is The Hunger Project Australia?

The Hunger Project is a global not-for-profit committed to ending hunger and poverty. Not through handouts, but by empowering people to lead their own change. Their community-led approach equips women and men with the tools, education, and leadership support they need to break the cycle of poverty and build self-reliant futures.

In Africa, South Asia and Latin America, this work transforms lives through improved access to education, health, clean water, food security, and income-generating opportunities.

Intelligen have been proud partners of The Hunger Project Australia for over six years, supporting their vision of a world where every person has the opportunity to thrive. From fundraising initiatives to walking side by side with their team, this relationship has always been about more than charity, it’s about shared values and a belief in the power of people to create change

As a female-founded business passionate about women-led change, we’re proud to align with The Hunger Project Australia’s focus on empowering women through education; one of the most powerful ways to create lasting impact within communities.

The Ghana 2026 Immersion Experience

In November 2026, Intelligen will be leading a group of leaders on a truly life-changing Immersion Experience to Ghana.

This experience will take participants deep into the village of Akode, a community progressing towards self-reliance with the support of The Hunger Project. It’s not about 'voluntourism'. It’s about witnessing impact firsthand, hearing directly from community leaders, and understanding how education, health, and empowered leadership drive long-term transformation.

As a collective, we have committed to a fundraising goal of over $200,000. That number isn’t accidental. It's bold and bold for a reason. It’s there to give us a small but powerful taste of what it’s like to ask for support and resources, just as communities often must. It’s humbling, confronting, and grounding, and it reminds us that every dollar counts.

Current Fundraising Total: $28, 232
